Yes. Every test is free to use, with no account, no download and no time limit. The site may show a small number of ads to cover its costs. Ads are kept away from the tools, so they never cover a test or sit next to a button you might click by accident. Settings you change stay in your own browser.
No. The tests run entirely in your browser, on your device. Camera images, the keys you press and the screen spots you mark stay on your computer or phone and are never sent to a server. If a tool saves your settings, it uses your browser's local storage, which you can clear at any time in your browser settings.
The tests work in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPhone and iPad. A few tests need features that some browsers lack, such as gamepad vibration or true full screen on iPhone. When that happens, the page tells you what is missing and which browser to use instead.
No. A browser can show test patterns, read key and button events and time your clicks, but it can't measure brightness in nits, true color accuracy or panel response time. Those need a colorimeter, a high-speed camera or lab gear. Our tests help you spot defects and setting problems fast, and each page says when you need a better method.
